I usually wait a few months to see where things are going, if the height of the nose was much too high to begin with. if the height of the nose is not too high with silicone, I sometimes do a formal review concurrent with gore-tex. I thought to get nose increased in the United Kingdom or the United States but changed my mind to do in Thailand as it is cheaper and apparently the quality is equally good. The have done my homework on the best plastic surgeons in Bangkok, but want to ensure that is the best of the best. Does anyone know? Thank you.

I would really suggest going to Bangkok and to hold consultations with doctors that you are watching. If it is financially possible for you, I really would like to suggest. This is the only way you'll be able to know if this doctor is right for you. Powers and comments can help, but there is nothing like a real one on one meeting.

I hate my nose. I'm part italian and part Japanese/Hawaiian and my nose is so big(the bridge).
My nose looks like a pure italian big nose.
When I was little they called me haole nose. haole means cracker or white guy.

I'd like to turn my head and still see BOTH of my eyes las my head turns, like normal asians, instead of a big nose blocking the other eye.

is there a surgery to lower the bridge of the nose?

There is surgery to fix anything.. it's just the matter of money..... It won't be cheap and they will show you a pic of what you would look like when finished... Really check out the plastic surgeion before you go under the knife... Talk to some or one of their patients and see how satisfied they are with their results...

The only things I know of that may change the shape of your nose are surgery and breaking it and having it set crooked. Which you don't wanna do.

I really want surgery on my nose to make it high bridged and pointy and make my nostrils smaller, more refined. People always say stuff like "Don't have surgery, a Caucasian nose doesn't match an Asian's face. It'll look horrible on you!"

Ummmm ... excuse me? I have a verrry small face and small bone structure, so of course I'll definitely look good with a high bridged pointy nose. People always say that it's a Caucasian feature, but I totally disagree. Almost everyone from the northern hemisphere of Earth have a high bridge nose due to the cold climate during evolution, and those countries are of course: All of Europe, Nothern Asia (Japan, Korea, and Northern Chinese).

Trust me, I've seen a lot of Japanese and Korean people, most of them have a 'slight' high bridge nose that is pointy and small. I mean, it's not super superrrr high bridged like Caucasian peoples' nose, it's just a slight high bridge.

People also say that the nose doesn't make that much difference to your appearance. Oh yeah? Want me to show you proof then? The nose DEFINITELY affects your appearance dramatically! It's like in the middle of your face!

1. at 16 you will have to get your parents permission and they will have to be willing to pay for a rinoplasty (nose job). If they agree, let your surgeon help you choose a nose shape that will look compatable with the rest of your face. Tell him/her what you want and get the surgeons suggestions.

has anyone ever tried or known someone who's tried the nose huggy, or the asian nose clamp? I can't seem to find much info on it and I think it might be a scam.

I know a lot of people who, thoughout their lives, gently squeezed their noses to "reshape" them...they swear that it made a big difference. It does make sense, because nose is made out of cartilage. But this works the best when you are an infant when the nose cartilage isn't fully developed and soft.

why thank you. i feel sooo much more hot. actually asian nose r really not all that flat. but yea its definilty flatter than most of the other races.
im not an expert, but usually a nose job would be about 3000 bucks or so. no insurance coverage at all. u have to be 18 or above to get any form of cosmetic surgery unless under special cases of medical ailments with parental consent.

has anyone had a nose surgery? I have small eyes, kinda asian looking.. he he he.. and a small mouth.. but my nose is a little too big.. it's like WhoA! huge but yeah...

So I was wondering how much it would cost to get it proportioned to my face.. I heard that if they make it smaller, since my eyes and mouth are small, I would look a lot better... I don't think Im ugly, not only cuz it's me, but because I've been told many times im cute..

Plastic surgery is so popular now days, and i've always wanted a taller nose bridge. Should i do it? I am sceptical because when a white person does plastic surgrey it's a wonderful thing, but when an asian women want plastic surgrey they are consider trying to look more american. Do you think i should do it because i've always wanted a taller nose?
The reason why i want it now is because i can finally afford it. 3000 dollars isn't very much to me, and a small price to pay for confidence?

I don't care how popular plastic surgery is or if you have the extra money to spend on it, PLEASE don't do it unless there is something wrong with your nose and you just can't stand it. Asian women are so pretty already, so why take a chance on messing your looks up with something you may just end up regretting. Also, many people who compliment someone on their plastic surgery actually talk about them behind their back to others and tell them that she is a fake (because she had cosmetic plastic surgery, unless it was really necessary). It isn't actually such a wonderful thing when white women have plastic surgery, though it does help with some, but Asian women normally don't need it to start with.

For your eyes, just do a cat eye point out at the end of the top lash line and bring it down to connect to the bottom lash line.

As for your nose, there's really nothing to do about that. You can apply a slightly darker foundation to the sides of your nose, which can create an appearance of a smaller nose, but it's hard to perfect without looking stupid.

I'm planning to get surgery on my nose because it's so flat, with extremely big and wide nostrils. I am not getting the surgery on my nose just to look entirely different, but to enhance my appearance. I am also not trying to change my ethnicity if that's what you think. I just want to look better and feel better about myself, and have higher confidence.

See? Beautiful right? That's exactly how I want my nose to be like. Not too big, not too thin either, just average size like hers. She has a small face, so her nose suits her. My face is small like hers but the only difference is that I have a big, wide, flat nose ...

Her nose bridge is also not too flat, and not too high either, just in between and that's EXACTLY how I want my nose to be like. It's like so perfect for my small face.

Well, what do you think? If you were me would you get the surgery? Imagine you had a really big, wide, flat nose just like that woman above, would you get nose surgery just to make it thin, small, and pointy just like the 2nd girl?

People always say "Don't have surgery, why change the way how God made you?" or "Stop trying to change who you are, just accept the fact that you're Asian."

Okay, first of all I am not happy with the way my nose looks due to the fact that it's extremely flat and wide. Second of all I'm not trying to change my ethnicity. I just want to look better and have better confidence about myself.

I mean, if I don't have surgery then I would never be truly happy. So in order for me to be happy I have to have the surgery. I don't like my big nose at all it's really unattractive. Often times people would call me hurtful names such as "Flatty" and "Pig Nose" .......... :(

See?! Now do you finally understand why I want to have surgery on my nose so bad? I just want to make it smaller and a bit more taller because I find it to be more attractive that way.

Yes there is. It's still known as a rhinoplasty. I recommend perhaps going to Taipei, Korea or Japan as they specialise in Asian features and this type of surgery. The WiSH Clinic in Taipei has had many good reviews; they speak English and have an English version website which has pictures of surgery resuls that you can view. I plan on going next summer to have blepharoplasty done - I'm half-Asian too!

It will also be cheaper than having it done in a Western country and the medical care in these countries are far better anyway.
