I usually wait a few months to see where things are going, if the height of the nose was much too high to begin with. if the height of the nose is not too high with silicone, I sometimes do a formal review concurrent with gore-tex. However, I never do drops of silicone in the same time. droplets can not be placed in an area that has a clear field to dissect. it will move. the region must heal first. In addition, I use the micro-droplets to correct minor problems as I see them after the withdrawal of the implant on the road.

I can't get to my doctors due to the time of year, so i was just going to get a home test, but i've read that the implanon might affect this? Just wondered if anyone had any clues. I'd appreciate anything that you've got to say, i don't expect there to be anyone medically trained to give me a big scientific answer xD personal experience or knowledge will do just fine ...? And plus its affecting my day-to-day life now too, tiredness, pains, stuffy nose, sickness, but i'm scared to go to my doctor because i had it out once before, but after having two scares had it put back in as there was no other form of contraception that i really trusted, and she's told me that shes not taking this one out till the three years is up :'( and i can see her point, but it was my only option, and now i'm having these problems; so i'm a bit stumped as to what to do really.

Anyone had nose implant before?

when someone makes a nose implant, as the nose job, putting silicone or other stuff in the nose, will be "subject" in the movement of the nose when he was hit? and people will be able to tell if you've had a nose job by touching?

If done correctly, the only people who already know it's a nose job should be able to tell.

im 20 years old, male, I had a face lift before, but I want to change my new implant because I wasn't happy with the result. any risk in terms of implant rejection, or bad result is that possible? I also want a nose clearly exploited. My nose right now is not clear that he has made bcos this is the first time. what is the probability that it will be for the elevator Secon ti nose will be obvious?

I had a big flat nose before so I had realized. The doctor put an implant and filled my nostrils. The nose bridge is fine and didn't size nostrils are OK.But I dnt like my nose right now is that the nostrils seem always rounded. I wanted my nose more pointed, so I want my impant changed, but risk aversion. Although my nose is already a nice contrast to before and veryone says its ok, and I think its ok, I dnt think its beautiful and I think MOREP nostrils ointed get better.
I think it will suit me cos I have a chin and I am Chinese
So how is it risky?

I'm sure he can, and plastic surgeons have done that and more. SOOO I just want to make an appointment to consult, and see what they offer!

im 20 yrs old, male,I had a nose lift before, but i want to change my implant again because i wasnt satisfied with the result. how risky in terms of implant rejection, or any bad outcome can this be? I also dont want an obviously operated nose. My nose right now is not obvious that it got operated bcos it was only first time. how likely will it be for the secon nose lift that ti will look obvious?

I had a flat big nose before so i had it operated. The doctor put an implant and trimmed my nostrils. The nose bridge is fine and na nostrils size are ok. But what i dnt like about my current nose is that the nostrils still seem rounded. I wanted my nostrils more pointed, so i want my impant changed but scared of the risks. Though my nose is already fine unlike before and veryone says its ok, and i think its ok, i dnt think its beautiful and i think morep ointed nostrils will make it better.
i think it will fit me cos i have a chin and i look chinese

It's the same risk as it was the first time you did it.
If you really want this done, then go do it.
Your nose is a scary thing to be changing because it basically defines your face. But that doesn't mean it will look bad when you get it fixed.

haha i did just ask this but that was too broad of a question i narrowed this one down a bit

Personally, I think she's overrated. But then again, I've never liked the Hollywood look at all. The prettiest women are the most real looking ones, the ones that are all natural. And over 99% of the time, they're not even famous beyond maybe the local/regional level, if that.

i hear the high pitch sound when it is directing me. it almost makes me fall out because i get so dizzy. then i am really fuzzy for a few minutes after. sometimes a bit euphoric.

i have consult two doctors, but both of them seems like dont have experience for this kind of surgery (add cartilage to make it longer).

so i was thinking, how about adding longer nose implant to make my nose longer?

OR, perhaps non surgical type, by injecting filler on the tip of my nose to make it longer?

although the injection cant last long, it doesnt matter as long as it looks better, but now i'm not sure which is better

2.) by injection

As for your question, it would depend on what you are trying to accomplish. For example, if you are trying to correct a 'beak' nose, a filler in the bridge area of the nose sometimes works wonders. You will have to have the filler injected every few years, but for the most part, it suffices.

If on the other hand, you are trying to correct the size or basic structure of the nose or nasal cavities, only rhinoplasty (nose job) will work, and it lasts a lifetime.

I would not have a nose job but i am considering lip implants, will this make a big nose look smaller if my lips are bigger. Hence- looking more in proportion?

I have yet to see anyone who has had lip implants who does not look like a trout.
If anything I think the strange appearance of your lips would draw people eyes down to the lower half of your face and make your nose all the more obvious.
I would suggest making the most of your eyes as they are what most people are drawn to.

d doctor said that with implant it is cheaper, and reversable if i dont like it. but i dont like anything unnatural to be put inside my nose. without implant however may need more than one surgury, and i cant get my old nose if anything ever happen!! help me decide please.

I'm guessing you want to make your nose bigger...

Is there another way to make it bigger WITHOUT using implants?

I know this sounds lame, but im considering plastic surgery... if I can save enough money and still pay for school that is.

I think my nose could be raised and narrowed slightly and I could also benefit from a chin implant, primarily to square my jaw. Tell me whether u guys think i should get it done, and if you think the results Im looking for would be possible. Also, if anyone in Canada/the US has had a procedure like this done, what did it cost approximately?

Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Honestly, I really dont think you need surgery. Your a very good looking guy, and you have a masculine nose/chin(which looks good on you) I dont see why you need it.


But hey, If you want to and think it will help you with your confidence, go for it! :)

Faulty Dental Implant and Empty Nose Syndrome?

Someone I know had a dental implant (right side 2 away from big tooth) and the post was sticking out from behind her top teeth into her palate for quite some time. The oral surgeon kept telling her that this was okay. Then burning of top gums, uncontrollable coughing (not a smoker), fatigue, hard to breathe through her nose (felt like her nose was wide open and it hurt to breathe in air). She had the implants removed, but still has this problem. Did some reseach on symptoms and is thinking it is empty nose syndrome even though she had no surgery on her nose. Does anyone have any kind of advice or treatments (other than keeping the nasal area moist)? And has anyone ever heard of an implant causing these horrible symptoms? Any help will be appreciated.

I suspect that the dentist is lacking in ability. It seems the implant not only went off course, but managed to disrupt the functioning of some nerves. Perhaps a malpractice suit is warranted.

Unless you're a Dr. I doubt that you can have that info. Usually suppliers of implants see only the medical profession.
So go to a Dr and see if you can order one...(a plastic surgeon.)

What would happen if a silicon implant is removed after a patient underwent an augmentation rhinoplasty?

My cousin just had an augmentation rhinoplasty two months ago. She is considering of having the silicon implant removed because her nose now looked "off-centered", It is inclined to the right side of the nose,. An Alar base reduction and alar thinning were also done during her operation. She fears that if implant is removed, her nose will appear deformed. She is also considering how the skin just above the nose will look like since it has stretched to accomodate the new "bridge". All information and views regarding this will be appreciated.

i am currently 17 years old and i am so self conscious about my chin and nose. i dont want a tremendous nose job just a tad but whatever....the point is i plan on getting one i just want to know what age should i get them
to all of you saying omg dont do that...i will. you dont have to live with a disproportional face and a horrific profile. i have a huge nose because i have no chin.

When you're 40 and your face starts sagging. Until then, at your age, your face as well as the rest of your body is still growing.

EDIT: As my answer stated, you are at a young age... I personally never told you "Don't do it." Your facial bones are not done growing until you are at least 25, so you still have a way to go. Until then, keep your 'thumbs' to yourself and be thankful that you don't have to live with the things you most likely don't have such as a thyroid problem and arthritis... You young people worry too much about the superficial things, such as how you look to other people, but when you get older, you have to live with much worse things.

ive seen some photos of people accused of plastic surgery (including a nose job) but they are able to wrinkle their nose.

No but it would get thin as you get older. Angelina Jolie is a good example.

Even after my nose surgery I still have a crooked nose, I was told that they could not skim anymore off the bump to make it appear straight because it would leave a hole in my nose at the bridge. The surgeon advised me that he would have to crack the face plate either side of my nose to make the bridge of my nose level. If I could use an implant or a fat injection where one side of the bridge has gone under the other I could make the nose appear symmetrical.
Is there such a procedure?

No, it's not that simple. You can't inject fat or tissue into something that doesn't have the structure to hold it. You need solid cartelidge.

Way cuter in the before picture! You said you're not getting surgery, but still I've got to say - don't destroy your beautiful upturned nose! Once you start chopping away at the nose, it can't be put back. That's a lesson best not learned the hard way.
